Your Secret Weapon To Stop Asking This Question: Why Are They Better Than Me?

One evening I remember watching a basketball game in which both teams were playing their hearts out to win. The score was very close and it seemed as if the game was going to last forever. However, something happened that seemed to turn the tide of the game allowing one team to obtain a large lead over the other team. The one factor that made this happen was the actions of one man. This man seemed to come alive throughout the course of the game with the will to want to win more than the other players. You could see the fatigue in his face, but he seemed to play as if he wasn’t tired at all. In was completely phenomenal, he seemed to play better as everyone else and they appeared to play worse. When the game was over, he was interviewed by a reporter who asked him the question I wanted to ask him, “What made you come alive to help your team win the game?” Without taking a breath he said, “It was my constant training?”

Constant training is the key factor that can save a firefighter’s life, keep a police officer safe in the face of danger, and bring a solider home from a war. The basketball player went on to say during the interview that his performance during the game became second nature in which his training kicked in allowing his instincts to take over. This is what happens to a sales person who constantly practices on how to sell and obtain customers. To become the best at what you do you have to be willing to train, train, and then train some more. I believe that if you want to be the best at what you have chosen as a career; then you have to constantly train. In other words, there is no such thing as too much training. Ask any professional athlete what help them to win in their particular sport and the answer will always be the same; training.

We have all heard the saying, “Practice makes perfect.” This is true however; I would like to expand on this by saying that, “Perfect practice makes perfect.” A person can practice and train constantly the wrong way and obtain the wrong result. However, when you constantly practice the right way you will receive the right result and the right result is the ultimate goal for all who constantly train.

More Sales Come From Having More Sellers, Not More Selling

More sales are generated from having more sellers not selling more products. In Network Marketing companies leaders understand that getting a little of sales from a lot of people cumulatively is better that getting a lot of selling from a small amount of people. Companies that succeed are companies that realize and embrace growth in the size of their sales force. Let me give you an example of how this works. I am an independent sales representative for Avon Products, Inc. who wants to increase the volume of my team sales and the size of my income bi-weekly. This is accomplished in two ways. Let’s say for demonstration purposes, I have 10 people on my team that generate $4000 in team sales bi-weekly. My goal is to increase my team sales to $40,000 bi-weekly.

The first way to accomplish my goal is to train my 10 people to sell over $3,600 in Avon products bi-weekly. This is extremely hard to accomplish especially if the average individual order size is only $25. Also, if one or two of my teammates decides to not sell any products; I as the leader won’t get paid a percentage off of their sales. However, there is a second way that my goal can be accomplished. The second way is to recruit more sellers onto my business team. For example, if you recruited 100 onto my business team and each teammate sells $400 worth of products my team sales would be $40,000 bi-weekly. This is way easier to accomplish than the first way. The beauty of applying the second method is that some of my business team may sell more than $400 bi-weekly. This will off-set the teammates who decide to not make any sales during that two week cycle.

In conclusion, most companies know that in order to stay in business long-term they have to increase the size of their sales force and not hope that their small sales force will generate more sales. So, if you are in Network Marketing Company go out now and recruit the world and enjoy the income that your business team will produce. Enjoying financial freedom is priceless.

Follow The System: The Difference between What’s Easy & What’s Hard

I recently had a conversation with a man who stated to me that he wanted  to advance in his career, but for several reasons this achievement is not happening for him. I immediately asked him what steps he was taking to advance in his career. He said that he once and a while would expose people to his opportunity and also sell the products from his company. I then asked him what system he was following that would help him advance in his career. As with most people, he wasn’t following a system. I told him that this is the adjustment he needed to make as soon as possible. Because this gentleman was in a Network Marketing company that contained several systems to help new distributors make money and achieve success; he was confused on what system to choose. He asked me why following a system was important for his success, and this is what I told him.

Many companies have different systems to help distributors achieve success because people are very different. What works for one person may not work for another. To find the system you have to see what works for you. In the beginning, this may mean you have to try different systems to discover what the best system for you is. Then, once you discover what system is best for you; your next course of action is to follow that system consistently. This is where so many people make the mistake of not achieving success. They either try to change the system or they begin to complicate the system they chose. In Network Marketing distributors achieve success quicker by sticking to the system they choose and keeping it simple in which it’s easy to duplicate.

It’s a known fact that in NetworkMarketing you get paid on your own efforts, but your pay increases when you teach and train others to do what you do. So, find and follow a system that works best for you just make sure that it’s simple and easy to duplicate.

Stand Out In A Crowd: Be Different, Be Heard

A person who decides to be different and stand out in a crowd can cause him or her to feel uncomfortable. Most people want to be accepted in society; especially by their peers. This is why more people choose to conform to what society is doing. In most cases, people feel like it’s their duty to follow what everyone else is doing or they will miss out on something. These types of people usually end up being average and ordinary; living paycheck to paycheck.

Then there is a certain type of person who believes deeply that he or she does not have to follow or conform to what society is doing. This particular person believes being different is what makes him or her unique. Standing out in a crowd brings a sense of pride and honor to this type of person. In the beginning this type of thinking can cause others to look down on the person who thinks differently wondering why he or she does not just “be like everyone else.” This confrontation can on many occasions be “energy-draining.” However, the person that stands the test of time and sticks to what he or she believes in their heart is right for them is the type of person who changes first themselves, and next the people they encounter.

These people become innovators and “game-changers" influencing others lives throughout their life. Influential people such as Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Donald Trump, Tony Robbins, Robert T. Kiyosaki, & Les Brown are innovators and “game-changers” and there are many others.

Your next step is to ask yourself a few questions. You should ask yourself to determine what path you will take in life.

Are you willing to just settle for being average and ordinary living paycheck to paycheck?
Or
Are you willing to stand out in a crowd, be different, and be heard changing your life and others?

What HULK Size Mistake Are You Making That’s Preventing You from Growing Your Network Marketing Business?

Increasing the size of your network marketing business team can be somewhat challenging and time consuming. Many new network marketers lack the patience it takes to grow a large network marketing organization. This process can take years to build. Unfortunately, most network marketers want growth to happen overnight, and this NEVER happens. When I first got involved in network marketing I was told that I needed to give myself at least five years before I would truly see the results of all of the hard work and effort I put into growing my networkmarketing business flourish. Most of the successful network marketers would agree with me that five years of knowing what you want, taking MASSIVE action, and believing completely works.

So what is the HULK size mistake that most new network marketers make that prevents them from growing their business; it’s simply how they think. The most important growth that has to take place for a true network marketer is your personal development. Network Marketing is a volunteer business in which no one has to do anything he or she does not want to do. This is why working on your personal development is so important. It provides the discipline and mental toughness to help you stick around for the first five years despite all of the obstacles you will encounter. Obstacles such as “no’s” and “no-show’s” are common in growing your network marketing business and personal development helps to ease the pain.

In conclusion, stop making that same HULK size mistake that most new network marketers make and begin today to work on your personal development. Even if you are not completely successful in your network marketing company; you will become successful at becoming a better person.

"A View From The Top" Book Review

Reading Gary and Lynette’s story really opened my eyes to quite a few facts that I never knew about Avon. Sure, as a child of the 70s I heard about Avon many times over the years and indeed they’ve been referenced in plenty of TV shows and movies.

I doubt you could find many people my age who haven’t heard about Avon. That being said I really had no idea that they were a network marketing company and frankly I was surprised to find this out. I guess I had considered them a company more along the lines of Fuller Brush company and really never gave it much more thought the net.

I was also very surprised at the ridiculously small investment cost to join Avon. I figured, since they were one of the biggest network marketing companies in the world, or at least one of the most famous, that the investment cost would be much higher. Reading about their experiences was quite interesting and the part about them now being able to talk in front of large groups of people with little fear open to my eyes as well.

I truly had no idea what a powerful opportunity Avon was and I certainly didn’t think that men could be involved. Anyway, based on just this part of the book written by Gary and Lynette I can definitely recommend reading it and I am already halfway done with said book as their part of the story inspired me to read the rest.

If you’re thinking about network marketing of any kind I would highly recommend reading this book first. I not only enjoyed it but it was surprisingly educational.

MASSIVE ACTION: The Main Ingredient For Success

I believe the main ingredient for any person’s success is due to taking MASSIVE ACTION. Just believing, staying positive, or having a strong belief is not enough to achieve success; action is required. However, the type of action that I am talking about is action conducted on a very large scale. My definition of MASSIVE ACTION is the production of action to do whatever it takes in a large way to achieve a desired goal. In other words, this means going the extra mile.

For example, a person in sales would have to make twice as many calls or visit twice as many customers to sell more products. A recruiter would have to contact more leads to obtain more recruits. I believe you see the direction that I am going in. Other ways that will help a person take steps toward taking MASSIVE ACTION is by learning all you can on how to get better at whatever profession you want to be successful in. If it’s sales then attend training seminars that teach various selling strategies and techniques. These types of training events can also help recruiters. Time is something that a person cannot get back once it is wasted. However, consistent MASSIVE ACTION over time will create one’s desired results.

There are some side effects associated with taking MASSIVE ACTION. One of them is an increase in one’s confidence. Knowing that you are doing whatever it takes to obtain your goal reassures you that it is obtainable. So, if you want to receive successful results then taking MASSIVE ACTION is important to making your goals and dreams a reality.

The Magic of CONSISTENCY

A very powerful characteristic that every successful leader has to develop is consistency. Consistency is a product of disciple. The process of achieving any goal takes more than just thinking positive and having a strong belief. One has to be disciplined enough to continue to produce consistent actions that will help him or her reach a desired goal. The discipline of consistency is not achieved our night. This is something that takes time to develop. Along with time, one has to also have a strong desire in staying consistent knowing that consistency is key in reaching his or her goal.

In network marketing, consistency plays a very important part for leaders who want to achieve financial freedom through their company’s business opportunity. Network marketing leaders know that in network marketing financial freedom is achieved by constantly increasing the size of their down line business team. The more teammates they have selling products or a service the more income that will be generated for the teammates and the leader.
The best way to develop consistency in network marketing is by understanding a few facts:
  1. MASTERING THE BASICS – People are constantly trying to re-invent their company’s system seeking the quantum lead to success. This never happens. Mastering the basics is achieved in small steps consistently taken over time moving towards a desired goal. For example, promoting an advertisement that states: earn money home online in a weekly paper each week.
  2. Understanding that success in network marketing is a “NUMBERS-GAME” and he or she who plays with larger numbers will obtain success faster. The most successful people in network marketing achieved the most “no’s” knowing that they will eventually obtain a few “yes’s.”
  3. Understanding the “LAW of AVERAGES” i.e. 25 exposures may produce 1 recruit; so increase the amount of recruit a leader should increase the amount of exposures.
  4. A consistent person attracts more serious teammates because their commitment displays passion and conviction toward his or her business opportunity, company, products and/or service.
  5. Consistency creates loyalty amongst customers and teammates. Customers continue to purchase from people who consistently provide high quality service. Teammates stay longer with a leader who is very consistent in his or her actions.
  6. Decide that you will….until. Put to death any notion of quitting. Except only that you will achieve your desired goal.
  7. Stay focused!! Life will throw you off course at times. Consistency is developed by keeping your goals in front of you at all times. A good example of keeping your goal in front of you is by placing a picture of what you want on your bedroom wall.
  8. Write out a specific plan of action and commit to following that plan each and every day.
Successful leaders in business truly understand that there is “Magic” in remaining consistent and you should too.

Rewrite The Stories You Tell Yourself

Most People Define Themselves By The Stories They Constantly Tell Themselves Based On Stories Told To Them By Others. STOP IT!!! Rewrite Those S T O R I E S!!
