Stop Being A Cry Baby! You Made A Mistake, Fix It!

Has this ever happened to you? A person causes a mistake. Now, this could be a big mistake or small mistake; depending on the perception of the person viewing the mistake. However, the person who caused the mistake decided to ignore the mistake and make excuses on why it happened in the first place; instead of admitting the mistake and moving on. Well, I have experienced this on many occasions from past and present people I have encountered.

Let me tell you quick story of such an incident. I recently was asked to help a person with a repair job that would cost this person a large amount of money. Because I have high knowledge of how to properly execute this repair; I responded by saying to this person that I would do it for free with certain conditions. The first condition was to bring the item that they wanted repaired to me. Second, allow me enough time to execute the repair and test the results to make sure that repair was correct. Last, once the repair was completed, they would pick the repaired item up from me and I did not have to go out of my way to bring it to them.

The first and second conditions were met perfectly however; the last condition was altered by the other party without my consent. When I expressed to the other party that this is not what we agreed; they immediately became very defensive in which I was told that I was completely wrong and that I had to bring them THEIR repaired item. Reluctantly, I decided to comply because I did not want to further cause any problems between me and the other person.

Here is the funny part, not only did I completely repaired the item; I added upgrades to the item in which the other person allowed me to execute. This saved this person well over $500.00 in repairs and upgrades. I still was told that I should have not protested against the altering of the agreement. Are you kidding me? Well, this is exactly what happened. Even though this was not a good experience I would have moved on and ignored what happened if the other party would have just said, “I’m sorry for changing the agreement and thank you for all you have done.” It’s just that simple!! Admit your mistake, take ownership for your mistake, and ask for forgiveness.

Because you are in Network Marketing which is a “peoplebusiness” you will encounter this on a few occasions. So, my message is the ones who are guilty of this or discover that you may do this in the future; PLEASE DON’T!! Make sure that you admit your mistake, then take ownership of the mistake, and last ask for forgiveness from the offended party. This would completely make your Network Marketing experience be a better one in which you will build a large prosperous business.

Never CONFORM To What Others Want You To Do!!

The majority of people join Network Marketing Companies to make extra money by building their own business. However, the people who don’t join them don’t view Network Marketing as a true business either because they don’t understand how Network Marketing works or they are just plain negative. Many well-known business owners have stated that Network Marketing is a true business. In fact, most of them went on to say that Network Marketing is one of the world’s best business models to get involved in.

So what happens when you tell your family and friends that you are getting involved into a Network Marketing Company? They reject your decision. In their eyes, they think they are trying to save you from what they believe is the negative parts of Network Marketing based on a lack of information that they know about this industry. Statements such as, “You are not going to make any money because my friend joined that same company and never made any money “ or “The person at the top makes all of the money off of what you do, so you won’t make any money.” These statements are far from true however; most new Network Marketers hear them.

The truth is that these people who are negative towards Network Marketing want you to conform to what they want you to do. You see, when you decide to do something against what others consider to be normal; you are looked at as being crazy. Unfortunately, most people let society dictate to them how to live. Platforms such as television, radio, & the Internet show them images of people in the spotlight who they want to be like. With the flood of images pouring into our brains; it takes a large amount of courage to not conform to what others are doing and do your own thing.

Those who choose not to conform to what everyone else is doing position themselves for greatness. This is because following and conforming to what others are doing leads them down a road of being average and ordinary. The innovators and “game-changers” in the world are the ones who have chosen not to conform to what everyone else is doing, but to create their own future. This is why I love Network Marketing so much, because it allows a person such as me to create the future that I want to create.

In conclusion, I extend an invitation to you to join me in creating the future you want and desire by not conforming to what others are doing. Be an innovator and “game-changer” using your Network Marketing to create the life that the conformers will NEVER have. Good luck and enjoy the journey!

Never Bite A Helping Hand!

Most people get involved into a Network Marketing company through a representative or associate who is already in the business. We will call this person an “upline.”The upline has a financial interest in the new person’s success. WHY!? If he or she doesn’t make any money by selling the products or service then the upline does not make any money.  In this case, a “smart” upline will do anything and everything they can to ensure that the person they brought into the business receives as much training and support as possible. This is considered a “win-win” situation in which both people win; the upline and the “downline” (the new person brought into the business.)

On most cases, uplines understand that the more training a downline receives the more successful he or she becomes. So, they should do everything in their power to help provide that training either from them or a third-party resource. Fortunately, the majority of downlines in a NetworkMarketing Company truly appreciate the value of the training that their uplines provide to them. However, there are a hand-few who don’t appreciate this training. They usually have what I call an “entitlement” mentality in which they feel as if they are owed something, or the upline has to provide them with something just because of who they think they are. I also call this, “they believe in their own introduction.” Don’t get me wrong, I believe that having high confidence and high self-esteem are very important. However, being over-confident and “cocky” are not a great fit for this industry.

One of the best ways to ensure your success in your Network Marketing Company is to become a great student, and learn all you can. I would further say you should also appreciate any training that your upline or anyone else provides for you because their ultimate goal is to help you succeed. So, with that being said, stop thinking you know everything and make sure that thank your upline for providing all of the training they provide in order to help you SUCCEED in your Network Marketing Company.

Are You Balanced!?

One of the most important conditions new Network Marketers should focus on is having a balanced life. Prior to joining your Network Marketing company you probably had your day mapped out for you. Your day probably started out with waking up, eating breakfast, getting the kids ready for school (if you have kids), and getting ready for work. Next, you probably have a routine at work that you follow with a set of tasks that you have to complete before you can go home. Finally after work, you go home to cooking, cleaning, dinner, and the kid’s homework (once again if you have kids.) So imagine trying to add the task of building a home business with your Network Marketing Company to your current daily schedule. This can be a bit overwhelming. This is why mapping out your days and weeks are so important to finding the time to building your home business in which it won’t interfere and interrupt with your daily routines.

Let’s first discover the reason why you are building a homebusiness. Some reasons vary depending on what the person wants to achieve. However; the most common reason is usually to achieve financial freedom. This type of freedom allows you remove the task of having to go to a job to work for someone else; building their financial freedom. If the idea of not working for others appeals to you then creating a balance for better time management is very important.

Here are some steps you can follow to create a balance in your time management:
1.       Write a schedule of what you do each day.
2.       Write a schedule of what you do each week.
3.       Determine what are your free times during each the schedules.
4.       Use these times to build your business. (i.e. advertising, attending trainings, & etc.)
5.       Stay focused, active, and consistent.

That’s it just five easy steps, but remember just because they are easy to do; they are also easy not to do. So make sure that you do whatever it takes to build your home business and create a life in which you are truly balanced and free.
