Use Network Marketing To Become a Superhero in Your Home



     I remember when I was a teenager growing up in the South Bronx. I always wanted to do something extra ordinary with my life however; I didn’t know what that would be. I spent the majority of my time outside of schoolwork and chores; reading comic books. I was fascinated with all of the superheroes that had extra ordinary powers. The main thing that stood out in mind regarding these superheroes was not just how they saved people, but how they were willing to sacrifice themselves to save others. Although, I knew that the superheroes I admired were only fictional characters created by someone’s imagination. I still wanted to follow in their shoes. But how could I use some kind of extra ordinary power to help others?

     Well, you know what? I began to discover that everyone is born with extra ordinary powers however; most people fail to recognize them. In addition to not recognizing them; most people will never put them into action. I believe this is very sad because this world would benefit a great deal if more people discovered his or her extra ordinary power and put it to good use. Want to know what this extra ordinary power is? It’s the power to become whatever you put your mind to! We all were born with this gift and only a hand few use it. I also believe that one factor that contributes to this is our environment and the people we associate with. 

     This is why I love Network Marketing so much because most Network Marketing Companies create environments that promote this particular super power by having a personal development plan and leadership development programs. They train you and condition you to believe in yourself, show you how to gain confidence, and encourage you to become a better person. Most of the people in these companies are on the same path to become financially independent and to become a better person. Just like the saying goes, “If you hang around five positive people; you will become the sixth one. If you hang around five negative people; you will become the sixth one.” I prefer to associate with people who are seeking to better themselves than those who want to be average and ordinary. So, seek to discover your extra ordinary power, use a vehicle such as Network Marketing, and put your super power to good use.

What Is Your Emotional Why



One of the first emotions that every Network Marketer has to develop is his or her “emotional why.” This “why” should be so strong that when he or she thinks about it they begin to cry. For example, when I first started in my Network Marketing Company, my “emotional why” was to never have to work at a job ever again. I remember some years back when I was working as a NYC Correction Officer; I was on a “hospital run.” This is when we have to go to one of the hospitals in the city and watch an inmate that was admitted in that hospital. 

During one of these “hospital-runs” my oldest son had a very bad asthma attack and had to be rushed to a hospital that was closest to him. I wanted to be with him however; this meant that I would have to have another Correction Officer relieve me so I visit him. I called my supervisor and explained the situation. He stated that they were going to send someone to relieve me as soon as they could. Unfortunately, it took them three hours to send someone to relieve me then it took another two hours to return all of the equipment required for the “hospital-run” and to finally reach my son. 

He was recovering well however; what if he wasn’t? What if things began to turn bad? What if he had died before I reached him? I would have not been there to see him in his final moments. I was not happy with the control my job had on me in this situation and swore never to let any other job control me like that again. This was the creation of my EMOTIONAL WHY. The thought of having someone control my life sickens me and if something like this ever happened to me again; I probably would cry. This is why your “emotional why” has to be so strong that it will make you cry.

Your “emotional why” may be totally different than mine, but I am willing to bet that you have one. This is your driving force that will keep you moving forward in your Network Marketing business even when conditions are not going well. Your “emotional why” gives you courage, patience, confidence to fight hard to achieve the success you want in your Network Marketing business. So always remember your “emotional why”, keep it in front of you, move forward, and reach your goals and dreams.

I Just Got Started In Network Marketing, What Should I Be Doing Now?



      So you just started your new Network Marketing business however; you have no idea what to do. This is the question on almost everyone who is new to this industry. You see, Network Marketing is designed totally different than a traditional Corporate America job. In Corporate America, your “to-do’s” are already set up for you. For example, you are told what to wear, what time to arrive, what time to leave, what time to take a break, and what to do when you are at work. In a Network Marketing company the “to-do’s” are more so based on your independence. Although, there are systems in place, every action you perform is voluntary. 

     No one is telling you what to do and making you do it. The actions you take in a Network Marketing Company are entirely based on your desire to obtain the goals and dreams you want by using this company as your vehicle to get them. So Wait!! You mean no one can make me do what I don’t want to; it’s entirely up to me? YES INDEED!!! This is your party and you can do what you want to. Sounds awesome right? However, just remember if you don’t perform you will never achieve your goals and dreams using your new NetworkMarketing Company as your vehicle. Don’t worry, there’s hope, I have put together some “to-dos” that will help you as you are beginning your Network Marketing career. 

     Your first order of operation is to get yourself set up. This is either online or offline. You should obtain all of your company’s materials in your start up kit. In addition, set up your company’s website if it’s available. Make sure that you read through this material. Next, you will need customers. Compose a list of as many people you know from you circle of influence (people you know now) informing them of what you sell, and asking them if they want to buy from you. Your third “to-do” is to compose either from the same list or create a new list of people you know to find recruits or business partners who want to join your team. You along with your sponsor or someone who has been in your business longer than you can contact these people from your list offering them the opportunity to join your business team.

The final steps are ones that will be ongoing throughout your Network Marketing career and here they are:

(1)    Attend every event that you possible can
(2)    Become the best student you can learning how to prospect, contact, invite, communicate, recruit, and sell
(3)    Work on your personal development each and every day
(4)    STAY POSITIVE
(5)    Always focus on your goals remembering why you joined you Network Marketing Company.
(6)    FINALLY, HAVE FUN

Not all Network Marketing Companies are set up the same however; following these basic steps will help you get off to a fast start to your success.

The Power of Leverage



     One of the best ways to gain an advantage in your Network Marketing business is to understand and use the power of leverage. The reason why so many people become successful in this industry is because they understand its power. Successful network marketers use leverage to grow their business. I was once told by one of my former mentors that successful business men know how to get 100 hours worth of work done in a day. I immediately asked him, “How can you do this?” His reaction was, “Well It’s very simply. Get 50 people to work for just 2 hours a day and you will get 100 hours of work done.”

     WOW!! Could it be that simply? YES IT IS!! Successful business owners know that they should hire 50 people and have them work for just two hours every day, and they will receive a 100 hours of production. The same is true for Network Marketing. A sponsor can obtain 100 hours of production by recruiting 50 people who work just two hours each day. There is no mystery or secret formula to why successful network markers become successful and others in the same industry don’t. They don’t just understand the power of leverage; they maximize its potential. 

     Let’s take understanding leverage in Network Marketing a step further. As a representative in my current company; I want to make a lot of money selling my company’s products. For example, I want to make $1000 a month part time. My company would pay me that amount if I sold $2000 worth of products personally. However, there is another way. I could recruit 100 people who all sell along with me only a $100 worth of products. That equals $10,000 worth of products that are being sold. Guess what; selling $100 worth of products is easier than selling $2000 worth of products. What if your company paid you as the leading representative $10 for every $100 worth of product that each one of you teammates sold? Since you have 100 people on your business team that each sold $100 worth of products your income would be $1000.

      In conclusion, using the power of leverage by recruiting as many people into your Network Marketing business will pay you much more than if you were working alone. So, the next time someone that’s not on your business team yet asks you how you are going to make so much money in your new home business. This is how you should respond, “I am going to make so much money in my new home business because I know how to get a 100 hours’ worth of production in only one day.”

Going the Extra Mile



     The main difference between winners and losers is winners are willing to go the extra mile and losers aren’t. The true definition of going the extra mile is defined as rendering more service than what is required. Your delivery of this service has to be in high quality however; during the delivery you must maintain a positive mental attitude. This attitude when you are going the extra mile will be in direct proportion to how much you will be compensated. Successful people know without a shadow of a doubt that going the extra mile is the KEY to their success.

     Going the extra in your business helps to open new doors and opportunities for you in whom more people will refer others to you and you will receive a lot of recommendations. You begin to separate yourself from others who are in your same profession. Creativity is developed in you to help solve more problems and find different ways to provide better service. You use personal initiative and never wait for others because you are constantly moving forward. You no longer let procrastination stop you from achieving your goals. 

     Others in your profession begin to respect you more because they know you are on a mission. Distractions are no longer an issue because achieving your goals is more important than anything else. So what does this all have to do with Network Marketing? JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING!! You should always strive to go the extra mile when you are dealing with your prospects, customers, and teammates. This will help you become very successful in your career in Network Marketing.
