YEAH!! I’m Attending Drive-Time University

     What is Drive-Time University? When most people think about a University, they usually think education. A University is a place in which people can attend to receive an education. They attend these Universities for four or more years in the hopes of being successful in their career choice. Students study for long periods of time in order to get good great grades. Although, many people complete the educational programs at Universities however; becoming successful in obtaining a career and excelling in that career is no guarantee. Yet, so many people choose this path. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this path. However, I prefer to attend a different type of University that also does not provide a guarantee, but helps new Network Marketers in a big way. 

     What University is this you may be asking? Well, I call it a Drive-Time University. This is a University that every new Network Marketer should attend. So getting back to the original question, what is Drive-Time University? It is every time you drive somewhere you are listening to something in your vehicle that will help you obtain the education you need to become successful in Network Marketing. Education in a Drive-Time University is without limits. You can learn things such as time management, communication skills, positive thinking, & the list goes on. The next question is how do you attend? This is very simple. Obtain informational CD’s, or recordings of educational products that will help you become successful in Network Marketing. 

     In the past, I use to listen to music when I drove from artists who are already successful in their field. Others may choose to listen to talk radio or a news channel. Although, this may provide them with some form of entertainment as it did for me; there is no guarantee that the information will help them succeed in Network Marketing. Yet, if they change their habit of listening to music, talk shows or the news and decided to listen to educational information; in time they may learn something that will help them succeed in Network Marketing. So my call to action for you is to remove ALL of the non-educational CD’s or recording or radio stations from your vehicle that won’t help you in Network Marketing, and visit your local book store, shop online. Then, download as many educational informational products as you can. Congratulations on your attendance in your Drive-Time University. See You AtThe Top!!

You Will Never Know Who Your Next Superstar Is If You Stop Looking

     Most people start out in Network Marketing with the understanding especially if their company has a good system in place that the more people that they put on their business team working the business; the more money they will make. So what happens in the beginning? New Network Marketers go out and try to recruit everyone that they know. This is a good thing, but unfortunately when they run out of people that they know what happens? They either lose excitement, become frustrated thinking that they have no one else to talk to, and quit, or they seek out creative ways to find new prospects and potential recruits. 

     Both scenarios always seem to happen. However, us uplines, hope that the second scenarios happens more than the first one. Now let’s look at what happens when new Network Marketers try a numerous amount of different creative ways to find new prospects and potential recruits. Yet, they don’t seem to grow their business team fast enough. Once again, they become frustrated believing that these different creative ways don’t work. However, as a seasoned Network Marketer, we know that this is not true. WHY!? Because, we understand that Rome was not built in a day; it took many years to build. This exactly how long it will take to build for your Network Marketing business. I, along with most Network Marketers, advice that all Network Markets should give themselves at least five years to build a successful business.  

     Okay, now you have decided to give yourself five years to build your home business in which during your second year you recruit someone who is totally emerged into the opportunity and starts to build a large business team of their own. Some Network Marketers, not all, make a very fatal mistake in their business at this point. THEY STOP LOOKING FOR NEW SUPERSTARS TO JOIN THEIR BUSINESS TEAM!! This is bad, bad, and very bad for the growth of their Network Marketing business. What if their current superstar decides to let life happen, and cause them to quit working their home business? 

     Your income could possibly suffer. In order to maintain continually growth in your Network Marketing business; you MUST always be looking for new superstars to join your home business. This is why I believe that most Network Marketers have not found the highest income-earner on their team yet. This is especially true if the stop looking.

Choose To Follow Success

     All humans who are blessed to visit and live on this planet have been given a special gift in which no other mammals have been blessed with. This is gift is called, “Choice.” Other mammals that live on this planet mainly operate on instinct and humans don’t. For example, most bears are known for hibernating in the winter. Has anyone heard of a bear that chose not to hibernate in the winter? No right? Because it’s their instinct to hibernate in the winter and they have no choice but to follow this instinct. 

     Humans on the other hand, have the ability to choose, and act upon that choice. We can choose what to wear, how to act, what to eat, when to sleep, and the list goes on and on. The majorities of people underestimate the power of “choosing” and make unwise decisions that cause uncomfortable situations and conditions in their lives. Sometimes the right path have been laid out before them, yet they seen to choose the wrong one. Is this because of ignorance or stupidity or stubbornness? This is something that I believe we will never fully know. One thing that is completely true about me is that I choose to follow the right path; the one that was successfully laid out before.

 

     At one point in my life, I didn’t understand why more people did not want to choose to follow success. The success I am talking about was created by successful people. People who have gone out and made the mistakes, learned from them, and went on to become successful. Now, I choose not to focus on why they don’t follow successful people. However; I will constantly make sure that I do and NEVER deviate off course. Because I now know that if I want something out of life I must follow others who were successful in obtaining it before me and copy what they did; then obtaining what I want is inevitable. 

     My call to action to you is to make sure that in your networking marketing journey to success you follow the people who have achieved the success you want and never stray off course; no matter what.

I am a Copy-Cat. As a matter of fact, I am not only a Copy-Cat I am a Master Copy-Cat. I believe that you should become one too. Almost all of the most successful people in the world were Master Copy-Cats. I hope that you choose to be a Master Copy-Cat like me however; just make sure that you are copying the “Right Cats!”

Stop Being A Cry Baby! You Made A Mistake, Fix It!

     Has this ever happened to you? A person causes a mistake. Now, this could be a big mistake or small mistake; depending on the perception of the person viewing the mistake. However, the person who caused the mistake decided to ignore the mistake and make excuses on why it happened in the first place; instead of admitting the mistake and moving on. Well, I have experienced this on many occasions from past and present people I have encountered. 

      Let me tell you quick story of such an incident. I recently was asked to help a person with a repair job that would cost this person a large amount of money. Because I have high knowledge of how to properly execute this repair; I responded by saying to this person that I would do it for free with certain conditions. The first condition was to bring the item that they wanted repaired to me. Second, allow me enough time to execute the repair and test the results to make sure that repair was correct. Last, once the repair was completed, they would pick the repaired item up from me and I did not have to go out of my way to bring it to them. 

     The first and second conditions were met perfectly however; the last condition was altered by the other party without my consent. When I expressed to the other party that this is not what we agreed; they immediately became very defensive in which I was told that I was completely wrong and that I had to bring them THEIR repaired item. Reluctantly, I decided to comply because I did not want to further cause any problems between me and the other person. 

 

     Here is the funny part, not only did I completely repaired the item; I added upgrades to the item in which the other person allowed me to execute. This saved this person well over $500.00 in repairs and upgrades. I still was told that I should have not protested against the altering of the agreement. Are you kidding me? Well, this is exactly what happened. Even though this was not a good experience I would have moved on and ignored what happened if the other party would have just said, “I’m sorry for changing the agreement and thank you for all you have done.” It’s just that simple!! Admit your mistake, take ownership for your mistake, and ask for forgiveness. 

     Because you are in Network Marketing which is a “peoplebusiness” you will encounter this on a few occasions. So, my message is the ones who are guilty of this or discover that you may do this in the future; PLEASE DON’T!! Make sure that you admit your mistake, then take ownership of the mistake, and last ask for forgiveness from the offended party. This would completely make your Network Marketing experience be a better one in which you will build a large prosperous business.
