Time vs. Money

     At the start for your Network Marketing career you will find yourself spending a large amount of time building your business, but not making a large amount of money from your business. You have to go out constantly to find new recruits and customers. This is done with all sorts of creative advertising, and prospecting; in addition to attending meetings, and trainings. You work effortlessly to achieve your goals and dreams in your new business opportunity. Your commission checks start to come in, but guess what they are not as big as expected. You begin to ask yourself if getting involved in this opportunity was a mistake or not. The thoughts of why are you spending so much time trying to build this business, but not making enough money start to sink in. 

     Let me tell you a known fact about this type of industry, THIS HAS HAPPENS TO EVERYBODY IN NETWORK MARKETING!! In the beginning of any business you will spend a lot of time building your business team, customer base, and income. However, over time if you engage in consistent MASSIVE action to build your business a change will occur. You will begin to see that the amount of money you are making will begin to equal to the same amount time you are spending to build your business. Soon, a more magical condition occurs. If you stay around longer still engaging in MASSIVE action; you will begin to make more money and spend even less time.

     This happens because other members of your business team are working towards building their own business teams. This is done with or without your involvement because they are working on their goals and dreams. It seems as if your business grows by taking on a life of its own. Over time your income totally out-weighs the amount of time you are spending to grow your business. So my advice to you is to stay in your business long enough, and work hard enough to build it in the beginning to eventually see the results of all of your efforts. Give yourself a five or ten year game plan for this to work and it will.

Why Are They Not Doing What They Are Supposed To??

     Have you ever screamed these words in your Network Marketing business? Well, I have over and over. A very strong emotion develops when you want people to do what you know they can do, but they don’t do it. This very strong emotion is called frustration. I hope this makes sense. Let me give an example of what I mean.

     You are a brand new Network Marketer who is very excited about the new possibility of completely changing your financial future with your new found opportunity. You feel as if you are on cloud nine. The leaders of your company all say to you that the more people that you recruit and sell your company’s products; the more money you will make. So, immediately you begin your hunt to try to bring in as many people as you can into your home business opportunity. Things seem to be going very well. You start to develop a small but growing business team. Your hopes of becoming successful start to increase.

     Then all of a sudden without any warning; some of your teammates seem to disappear into thin air. You begin to scramble by calling them. Unfortunately, you can’t reach them. Some of the others hit you with some of the dumbest excuses in the world. Now, your hopes of becoming successful begin to decrease or go away completely. SO WHAT SHOULD YOU DO? Should you cry, moan, or give up and quit. 

     Well, the one and only true answer is NO WAY!! Don’t you dare!! WHY!? Every successful Network Marketer has experienced this somewhere in building their successful business. However, you know what kept them going? They clearly understood that this is A VOLUNTEER BUSINESS!! People volunteer to join, they volunteer to quit, they volunteer to work, and they volunteer not to work. This is the nature of Network Marketing. 

     Your job to COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND THIS, ACCEPT IT, AND ALWAYS BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR NEW PEOPLE!! Your philosophy should be NEXT!! Always be asking this question “Who can I find next to add to my business team?” With this philosophy you too will find yourself having a very successful Network Marketing business.

Get Away From Me!!

      I had said these words on many occasions. Unfortunately, I had to say this to some of my friends and family. When a person decides to enter into Network Marketing he or she is looked at in a bad light. Why!? Because Network Marketing is not the normal way most people earn their income. Most people are taught to go to school, and get a good job with benefits. In this past, this advice worked however; now it doesn’t. Our elders who told us this advice are now living by having more month than money. So, how can their advice be taken seriously?

     It takes a strong person to decide to enter the Network Marketing Industry because this industry teaches the opposite of what is taught in traditional Corporate America. Network Marketing teaches us to build a business because working at a job will never make you wealthy. Unfortunately, more people who don’t choose Network Marketing say negative things about people in that industry. The core principle of Network Marketing is helping others to succeed. In Corporate America, you are taught that your success does not depend on others so you don’t have to help them. 

     Not only is this bad advice it also does not create a positive environment. So, what should a new Network Marketer do when he or she encounters negative people? I would say GET AWAY FROM THEM ASAP! Removing yourself from negative people is not only better for you it is also better for them. “Better For Them?” Yes, because when you succeed you remove all of the excuses from them of why they should not join you and go out and succeed too. Negative people hate that! The benefit to the new Network Marketer is he or she starts to develop positive characteristics that stay with them forever. 

     So, don’t feel bad that you have to separate yourself from negative people because they are not going the same direction as you. They are like a parachute on your back that creates more resistance for you while you are moving forward. My advice to you is to remove the resistance by cutting the parachute (negative people) and move forward as fast as possible because success is waiting for you.

Learn To Embrace New Technology

        The reason why more people don’t choose to embrace technology is for what I believe is the only reason why they don’t, and that reason is a lack of understanding. Sometimes embarking into to new territory can be very intimating because when people are not sure of the outcome; they won’t take the risk. Unfortunately, the rate of speed that technology is moving with all of its advancements; most people are forced to endure these changes reluctantly.

         

         This transition can be made easier with a guide or a blueprint. This is exactly what I have created. FAITH: Taking The 1st Step Without Seeing The Whole Staircase

One definition of faith is having a belief that is not based on truth. I believe that all new network marketers need to have faith. They need the faith to know that they will be successful in the new Networking Marketing business. For a person that is new to this industry has some unlearning to do especially if they have come from Corporate America. They have to unlearn the mindset that was taught to them in Corporate America. I believe that people choose their occupation based on the type mindset that the currently have. 

For example, most employees’ mindset is looking for a safe secure job with great benefits. However, an entrepreneur’smindset is looking for ways to build a large network of employees to work for them. An employee who decides to become an entrepreneur would need a large amount of faith to be successfully, because he or she has to completely change his or her mindset to achieve success in this new industry.

There are many benefits to gain from develop strong faith. Faith helps you to feel connected to something, someone, or people thus creating a community. This feeling reduces the sense of feeling lost or disconnected. It also encourages you to move forward while others are procrastinating. Faith helps you to connect to your higher power, infinite intelligence, or universal mind. Most people just call it GOD. Faith also induces positive emotions and a more positive mind attracts success. Your mind begins to create better thoughts and success begins in the form of a thought. 

Here are some ways to increase your faith:

·          1)Use auto-suggestion telling yourself that you will achieve success

·         2)Formulating a definite plan of action. This increases confidence and belief.

·         3)Use continual learning. Always remain a student. 

·         4)Pray and/or meditate often. This is how you can communicate with your higher power to receive new ideas on how to achieve success. 

·         5)Seek out a mentor and align yourself with a mastermind group. Mentors have created a path for you to follow. The mastermind group helps you stay focused because they going in the same direction towards success as you.
