STRONG BELIEF: The Crusade Begins

One of the most powerful characteristics a man or woman develops is strong belief. This belief is developed on how he or she perceives certain situations, people, and conditions they encounter. It should be known that everyone's perception is his or her reality. This reality is what shapes someone's belief.

A strong belief can create in a person; a career or even a crusade. On Sept 11, 2001, we in the United States have been subjected to the mercy of people with strong beliefs. Unfortunately, a serious price was paid for a few bad individual’s strong beliefs.

The lesson we should learn from these individuals is A STRONG BELIEF IS A POWERFUL COMPANION!!! How does this help someone seeking to develop a more positive personal development attitude? Let's see!! First let's take a close look at the benefits of developing a strong belief.
 Benefits of having strong belief:

1)      Creates a strong confidence in oneself and his or her chances of achieving one’s goals

2)      Creates a higher self-esteem in which fear of the unknown is reduced

3)      Helps to increase one’s expectations in which one is wiling to work harder because he or she begins to know without doubt that hard work + strong belief = an expected result.

4)      Creates a crusade. A crusade is hard to kill off long after the crusader is dead.

5)      Produces a “I Will Not Be Denied!” attitude in which one is more than willing to step out of his or her comfort zone

6)      Helps one tap into the “creative-mind” allowing him or her to develop definite plans of action in which he or she will obtain their desired goals.

These are just some of the benefits for developing a strong belief. The list can go on and on. I believe that you should be getting the point that if anyone wants to achieve a desired goal; then developing a strong belief plays a major role in creating that result. Let’s now look at some ways in which one can develop a strong belief system.

Here are a few:

1)      Explore the beliefs that you presently have; then ask yourself, “Are these beliefs beneficial towards me obtaining a desired goal or are they harmful?”

2)      Whatever goal you wish to obtain; seek out knowledge and experience in ways to help you reach your desired goal. Knowledge is power however; APPLIED knowledge in UNLIMTED power. In addition, repetition is the mother of learning.

3)      Explore your imagination. Asking the question, “What If I Achieve My Goal, What If?” This question along with using your imagination helps you develop an emotional attachment to the goal you wish to obtain.

4)      Use visualization. Visualize you already having to have obtained your desired goal. Do this 5 to 15 minutes a day until your desired goal is obtained.

5)      Say positive affirmations. Affirm through your day that will obtain your desired goal no matter what it takes. Affirmations influences your unconscious mind in believing that you have already achieved your desired goal and your unconscious mind influences your conscious mind into developing ways to obtain your desired goal.

6)      Last, burrow some else’s positive belief in you until you develop your own positive beliefs.

I am sure that a few would agree that there are other strategies and methods in which one can obtain or develop a strong belief. However, with confidence, I have to state that the previous stated steps are amongst some of them.

The POWER of Staying POSITIVE

Staying positive most of the time can be one of the most difficult things to do; especially in the current conditions most of us are living. People are still unemployed, some are homeless, & most people have more month that money. We can also take in to consideration some of the negative people that we associate with on a daily basis. Who show we blame; the media, society, environment, or the current culture that we live.

No, we shouldn’t blame anyone. The person that we should confront is the person we see each day in the mirror. I have a saying, “I can’t make anyone do anything that they don’t want to do. However, the only person that I can make do something when he doesn’t want to do; is me.” This has stuck with me for years. So, if a change in your outlook on needs to occur; then you are the only one that can make this happen.

I believe this starts by viewing the world you live in, in a more positive way. First, understand the benefits of being and staying positive. Here they are:

       I.            Staying positive helps you live longer. Stress is a silent-killer and positivity removes stress.
      II.            You begin to develop better decisions even in unpleasant situations
     III.            Your productivity increases; either in your business-life, family-life, and in your     relationships.
     IV.            You begin to not sweat the “small stuff” situations that occur in your life don’t seem as big as that would have in the past.
      V.            Your focus increases and with increased focus you attract better conditions and situations into your life.
    VI.            Your speech pattern is improved in which your points can reach and easily be understood by others.


Still not sure how to develop a more positive mindset, well let’s take these steps into consideration:

1. Practice optimism by focusing on only what you can learn from and change about each condition and situation that you encounter.
2. Practice gratitude by being thankful with what you already possess. Appreciate the lesson you will learn from the conditions you will encounter.
3. Practice replacing negative thoughts with positive thoughts. When a negative thought appears ask, “Is this thought valid enough for me to entertain?”

Understand that these strategies don’t develop overnight. This may take years to master. However, if you don’t get started today, to will never witness the outcome and results in your life. The world Is what you make it, control your thoughts and you control your life.

My Story.....
**LOST**
It all started in 1997(can't remember what month it was). When I was in my 7th year as a NYC Correction Officer. I remember it like it was yesterday. I really did not want to go to work this day, but had to go because I called in sick too many times before this day. I was praying that I would get a real easy post so the day could go by quick. It's funny how GOD never gives you what you want but always gives you what you need. You see I was always trying to figure out how I could start my own business, because I always(for as long as I can remember)knew that working for others was not the way I wanted to live my life. Boy I sure did not realize at this time how deep the rabbit hole really went.
**GOING DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE**
Okay back to that day at work. There it was somehow I got the post I hated the most, THE INTAKE(where inmates are processed entering and exiting the jail). I remember sitting pissed off when all of a sudden this officer(Roger J.), I will never forget you Rog, started talking to another officer about money and how it works. He wasn't even talking to me, I just happen to be walking by and over heard him. He was talking about THE RULE of 72, INVESTING, REAL ESTATE, and OWNING YOUR OWN BUSINESS. I didn't know what it was but it was like I won a million dollars. I asked him, no begged him(just kidding, just asked) if he could teach me what he knew. Long story short he invited me to a Primerica opportunity meeting which basically changed my life. What happened next really made the change solid, I read 2 books: Rich Dad, Poor Dad & Think and Grow Rich.
**FAST FORWARD IN THE TIME MACHINE**
After making good money but with no solid traffic of new fresh leads (new prospects) and my warm market (family & friends) drying up fast, my dreams of home business ownership was DEAD. I hated every time my uplines (sponsors) use to tell me "You never run out of referrals in your warm market." Well, I didn't know what the heck they were talking about because that's what was happening to me. Also, during this period I discovered one of the most powerful marketing tools in the world THE INTERNET. I then joined several other business after Medical Billing, Phone Cards, Selling Dish TV, Buying ATM Machines, etc.
**MLM COMPANIES**
I loved the MLM companies I joined, I believed in their mission.
Example: I do not like owning just one store in the mall. If there is a fire near my store and my store gets destroyed. My income DIES! Versus owning several stores in different areas of the mall and something happens to one of my stores. I still would get paid because of the other stores I own in that mall. I wanted a nationwide business not a local or regional business.
This is what MLM Companies provide, the more people you have on your team(going for their goals & making money), the more money you make ALONG with them. NOT OFF OF THEM LIKE CORPORATE AMERICA DOES!!
**NOW I CAN SEE VERY CLEAR NOW**
My eyes once again opened up I saw more clearly. I after reading this understands what I am talking about. Also, it was something about the power of INTERNET that I totally loved. I figured if I could understand the power of the INTERNET and knew how to use it, I could get paid big money in a TRUE HOME-BASED BUSINESS. Don't get me wrong even though I quit some of the MLM companies I was with, I would choose this route(working with a MLM company) as a career over a normal 9-5 JOB(Just Over Broke) ANY DAY!!
**MY FUTURE LOOKS REAL BRIGHT**
I started and still am reading as many books as possible about on how to think, marketing, money, business, wisdom, basically EVERYTHING and ANYTHING involving personal development. I WANT TO GET PAID(Period)!!! WITH MONEY COMES FREEDOM, WITH FREEDOM COMES CHOICES, and I LOVE HAVING CHOICES!! I hated someone telling me when to go to work, when I could take a break (or how long), and I how much money I could make. I hated them telling me where I can live and what I can drive based on the amount of money I made. All of that made me sick (physically and mentally). That's why my future is looking very bright now!!
**HELPING OTHERS**
The best thing of all now is I can really help others by telling them what I've learned and what I am doing with what I have learned. One my greatest joys in life is to be able to impact other people's lives to help make them better. I don't want ANYTHING in return, just to help others THAT'S IT!
